About The Emotionally Supportive Lobster
Localised Organism-Based Support & Therapeutic Emotional Response
This isn't that.
If you're here, you might have tried the other stuff. The apps. The journals. The breathing exercises in the pastel-coloured font. The yoga poses that everyone else seems to find deeply calming while you just feel vaguely annoyed and also your knee hurts.
And when it didn't work, you absorbed a message you were never meant to receive.
That you failed it.
You. Did. Not. Fail.
It just wasn't the right shape for you.
That's not a small thing. That's actually everything you need to know for right now.
Because "I failed the wellness" and "this particular tool doesn't fit my particular brain" are completely different problems with completely different solutions. One of them means you're beyond help. The other just means you haven't found your version yet. You just need to pick another groove.
You are not beyond help.
You might just need to tilt your head a bit. Away from the white walls and the curated calm. Let the light catch something else. Something a bit odd. Something that doesn't look like help is supposed to look.
And then — just twenty seconds of courage.
That's all. Not a commitment. Not a lifestyle change. Not a whole new you by January.
Twenty seconds to try the weird thing.
Maxx KaPassity is not a therapist.
Nor is he or anyone else here qualified to replace actual clinical medical supports.
He is, technically, a gremlin in a clearance bin lobster costume. Seventy eight cents and a maybe. He found his purpose because he was the only gremlin that fit in the costume when we were looking for someone to stuff into it.
He cannot fix the storm.
He won't tell you you're fine when you're clearly not.
He won't make speeches or map out your heart.
He'll sit on the floor with you.
He'll hand you something odd.
He'll stay.
And sometimes that buys just enough space to find what actually helps. Which might be a professional who finally fits. A word you didn't have before that suddenly explains thirty years of why am I like this. A community. A diagnosis. A resource. A thread you follow at 2am that leads somewhere unexpected and true.
Or it might just be mooing at something until the spiral interrupts itself.
All of it counts. None of it requires you to have failed first.
An Important Note On What This Is and Isn't.
Nothing here is officially sanctioned, clinically tested, or professionally prescribed.
Maxx is not a therapist. The Gremlin Wrangler isn't either.
L.O.B.S.T.E.R. is not a medical service, nor designed to replace it.
What it is: a collection of things that might help. Odd things. Unglamorous things. Things that don't look like wellness is supposed to look. Therapy adjacent and Gremlin Scented.
None of them are harmful. None of them are dangerous. None of them replace professional support if that's what you need. At worst you might look a bit weird.
And what's wrong with being weird exactly?
